@Min
He wasted no time in crossing over to her, taking her hand in his and wrapping his arms around her for a brief moment. He knew they had to go quickly, he could see it on her face. “Are you… how badly does it hurt?” he asked, concern and worry pervading his tone, obscuring everything else.
“Bad,” she whimpered, “really bad. I ne-I need…can you carry me?” She asked weakly, her eyes so wide and lost. She was terrified and had never looked so young around him, not ever. “It hurts so bad,” she sobbed.
Without another thought, he gently picked her up, not wanting to cause her any more discomfort than absolutely necessary. The second he knew she was secure he started off, as fast as he could while still making sure she was as okay as she could possibly be. He didn’t stop, didn’t speak, until they reached the Hospital Wing, where he carried her straight in without stopping and called loudly and insistently for either of the Healers, desperation in his tone.
Bentley came running out of his office, his eyes wide. “Put her on the hospital bed right there,” Bentley said immediately, “and step back, alright? I’ll need you wait outside or at least on the other side of the curtain. Is there anything that happened that I need to know about?” he asked as he hastily grabbed his kit and carefully parted Min’s legs before he went to get his equipment set up.
